Teacher Preparation at Valparaiso

Valparaiso’s program for Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellows will build on its long tradition of successful teacher preparation programs at the graduate level. In addition to learning about the theory and methods of educational practice and gaining hands-on classroom experience through extensive professional practice opportunities, the Fellows will benefit from Valpo’s partnership with Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry and other community-based organizations. By the end of their program, Valpo’s Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellows will be prepared to teach a diverse student population in high need urban school districts.
