Non Discrimination Policy

The Foundation is committed to a policy of non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all qualified applicants, without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or status as a Vietnam-era veteran.

Application Changes

Any change to the Fellowship application after it has been submitted must be done in writing. These written requests can be emailed to wwteachingfellowship@woodrow.org or faxed to 609-452-0066.

Application Feedback

We are unable to provide individual feedback about fellowship decisions to applicants who are not accepted at any stage of the application process.

Reapplying

If you are not accepted as a Fellow in any given year, you are welcome to reapply to the next year's cohort. You can not apply to the same state program more than once in each recruitment cycle (June – February). If you do decide to reapply, you must complete the full application and submit all required supporting documents.

Privacy Policy

The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation is committed to the privacy of its Fellows and friends. Woodrow Wilson does not use cookies or permit banner ads or other third-party data collection technologies, nor does the Foundation collect personally identifiable information about Web visitors unless they voluntarily provide such information.

Personal information is collected from those visitors who choose to apply for fellowships or other programs administered by Woodrow Wilson, who submit updates for records already maintained by Woodrow Wilson, or who provide their email addresses for information and follow-up.

Those visitors who choose to apply for fellowships or submit updates to records may be asked for their mailing addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, Social Security numbers, and other contact information. These data are used to create individually keyed database records for fellowship competitions and Fellows' information, and, on occasion, to describe (without personal attribution) the nature and breadth of applicant pools for given fellowship competitions. In addition, individuals who choose to make financial contributions to the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation may voluntarily enter credit card numbers and related information on this Web site.

  • Any page on this Web site that requires entry of personal information is a secure page that employs advanced encryption technology.
  • Woodrow Wilson does not sell, share, or provide lists of Fellows or fellowship applicants, or any portion of such lists or the information they contain, to any third party or external agency, and it prohibits internal use of such information for purposes other than those described herein.

On occasion, if a third party seeks to contact a Fellow through the Foundation, the Foundation may alert the Fellow and, if the Fellow so instructs, facilitate the contact. Otherwise, Woodrow Wilson does not assist third parties in contacting Fellows.

Personally identifiable records of individuals who apply but are not accepted for fellowships are deleted following each competition, though aggregate data without personal attribution (e.g., number of applicants by institution or by academic discipline) may, in some cases, be retained. Records of individuals who become Fellows are retained in a database at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation for purposes of business correspondence.

Fellows may receive (by surface mail, email, or telephone) requests to participate in Woodrow Wilson events or support the Foundation's work. These solicitations are generally limited to three or four annually. Fellows may also receive periodic updates, by surface mail or email, about the Foundation's work. Any Fellow or friend of the Foundation who wishes to request revisions to these records may contact the Webmaster, who will forward the request to appropriate Woodrow Wilson staff for response.

The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation reserves the right to change this policy and to modify any program described on this Web site without notice or liability. Any such modification is prospectively binding on users. Please review this page periodically when you visit the site to receive information about the Foundation's latest policies on privacy and information security.
