The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation is located at Princeton Metro Center, 5 Vaughn Drive, Princeton, New Jersey, about 50 miles south of New York City and 45 miles northeast of Philadelphia. To reach Princeton we recommend the following routes:

BY TRAIN FROM NEW YORK CITY OR NEWARK, NEW JERSEY

From Penn Station, (New York City or Newark), take the New Jersey Transit Northeast Corridor Line to Princeton Junction. From the southbound exit parking lot, walk straight ahead (dinky train tracks to your right) through the parking lot (.3 mile). At the end of parking lot on your right is the driveway to the Princeton Metro Center, where the Foundation is located. Note: Some Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction; please check train schedule.

BY TRAIN FROM WASHINGTON/PHILADELPHIA

Take Amtrak (Washington/Philadelphia) or SEPTA (Philadelphia) to Trenton, New Jersey. Change trains for New Jersey Transit to Princeton Junction. Use the tunnel that runs underneath the train tracks to exit the station at the southbound parking lot. Walk straight ahead (dinky train tracks to your right) through the parking lot (.3 mile). On your right at the end of the parking lot is the driveway to the Princeton Metro Center, where the Foundation is located. *As an alternative to changing trains at Trenton Station, there are taxis available outside the station. Note: Some Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction; please check train schedule.

BY LIMO SERVICE FROM NEWARK AIRPORT

The limo service that runs from Newark Airport is called the Princeton Airporter. Reservations must be made at (609) 587-6600. The drop-off point closest to Woodrow Wilson is the Hyatt Hotel; the trip takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at the Hyatt, call your contact person at the Foundation so that transport from the Hyatt to the Foundation’s offices can be arranged.

DRIVING FROM NEW YORK CITY/NEWARK AIRPORT

Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 9 New Brunswick. USE THE TOLLBOOTH ON THE FAR RIGHT. After the tollbooth, turn right onto the ramp toward Route 18 North. Soon after, bear left when the road forks, staying in the right lane (you will see a restaurant and a car wash on your right side as you bear left). Take this road over U.S Route 1; bear right to a hidden exit to U.S. Route 1 South to Trenton. These three turns are in rapid succession. Follow Route 1 South to the exit at Alexander Road East\Princeton Junction. (Note: all turns in New Jersey are made from the right-hand lane.) Cross back over Route1 and follow Alexander Road east for 1 mile. At the fourth traffic light turn left onto Vaughn Drive (across from the Windsor Haven development at Bear Brook Road on your right). Take Vaughn Drive to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left, following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building. * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far.

Estimated travel time (depending on traffic) is 2+ hours from NYC, and 1.5+ hours from Newark.

DRIVING FROM PHILADELPHIA

Take I-95 North to exit 67 Route 1 North, pass Quakerbridge Mall while staying on Route 1 North. Get off at the exit to Alexander Road East/ Princeton Junction (the Hyatt Hotel will be on your right), and turn right onto Alexander Road. At the third traffic light (about 1 mile) turn left onto Vaughn Drive (across from the Windsor Haven development at Bear Brook Road on your right). From Vaughn Drive, turn left into the driveway of Princeton Metro Center, and follow the driveway around to the parking lot just in front of the building. * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far.

DRIVING FROM TRENTON, NEW JERSEY

Take U.S. Route 1 North to the exit for Alexander Road East/ Princeton Junction (just after passing the Hyatt Hotel on your right), and turn right onto Alexander Road. At the third traffic light (about 1 mile) turn left onto Vaughn Drive (across from the Windsor Have development at Bear Brook Road on your right). Take Vaughn Drive to the entrance driveway of Princeton Metro Center on your left following the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building. * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far.

DRIVING FROM SOUTH NEW JERSEY

Take the New Jersey Turnpike North to exit 8 Hightstown. Turn left after exiting the turnpike and follow signs for Route 571 (which is a right-hand turn off Route 33 in downtown Hightstown). Go west on Route 571 for approximately 12 miles until you reach U.S Route 1 at a large intersection with gas stations on three corners. Go south on U.S. Route 1 until you see the exit for Alexander Road East/ Princeton Junction. Note: all turns in New Jersey are made from the right lane. At the fourth traffic light on Alexander Road, turn left onto Vaughn Drive (across from the Windsor Have development at Bear Brook Road on your right). From Vaughn Drive turn left into the driveway of Princeton Metro Center; follow the driveway around to the parking lot just in front of the building. * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far.

DRIVING FROM WEST NEW JERSEY

Go east on I-78 to Route 287 South, to Route 206. Take Route 206 South into Princeton, where Route 206 becomes Bayard Lane. At the three-way intersection of Bayard Lane, Nassau Street, and Route 206, turn left onto Nassau Street and then turn right immediately onto Mercer Street. Take the first left, Alexander Street (which becomes Alexander Road). Go thorough 3 traffic lights, cross over Route 1 (there are two more lights on the overpass) and continue on Alexander Road through two more lights (about 1 mile). At the second light turn left onto Vaughn Drive (across from the Windsor Have development at Bear Brook Road on your right). From Vaughn Drive turn left into the driveway of Princeton Metro Center; follow the road around to the parking lot just in front of the building. * If you find yourself in the train station parking lot, you have gone too far.

BY BUS FROM NYC-PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL, WEST 41st

Buy a ticket to Princeton at the Suburban Transit ticket counter on the main floor of the port authority. (YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET TO BOARD). The gate number will be on your ticket. Buses leave every half hour and take approximately 1.5 hours to reach Princeton. Get off at Palmer Square. The taxi stand is opposite the kiosk in Palmer Square. Take a taxi to the Foundation’s offices.
